Showcase 2010 - You took the picture; why not show your love by doing something with it?

I just returned from Creative Memories Showcase. I went with no real expectations other than to see the new product introductions, hear Nick Kelsh talk about taking better photographs, see Nancy O’Dell introduce her new partnership with CM, and to learn new scrapbooking tips and techniques.

Well. Creative Memories sure knows how to put on a show. After the 3-day event, I got all that I went for and then some. I came away with a renewed spirit as far as being an Independent Consultant goes. I started my business like so many others – to get a discount on the products I was already buying. I now think that I should “Jump on Board” and take advantage of the opportunity I have sitting in my lap and make a real business out of my hobby.

I’ve always heard that you should do what you love and, those of you that know me know I LOVE SCRAPBOOKING. Visit my website at www.mycmsite.com/rondi and click on My Page to read why I became a consultant. If I didn’t know better, I’d think CM borrowed it for some of their motivational speeches at this year’s Showcase.

Anyway, CM is redefining itself starting with a new logo that is simple, versatile and appropriate. And, CM is now offering two paths for us to preserve our memories: scrapbooking and simple, beautiful photo solutions.

I do love scrapbooking, but I’m reminded that not everyone loves scrapbooking. To jump on board with my business, I need to reach out to all people who take pictures, not just scrapbookers. If people take pictures, they do it to preserve a memory. CM is committed to helping people with photo solutions that can help celebrate precious memories. You took the picture; why not show your love by doing something with it?

My blog is one tool I plan to use to help grow my business. Watch for updates that will hopefully inspire you to do something with your photos. I’m here to help you and I’m doing it because I love to.
